Hey, I’m Raghav 👋
I’m that guy who gets way too excited talking about marketing campaigns at dinner parties.
By day, I’m the Marketing Head at a SaaS Company, where I spend my time figuring out how to make recruitment software sound as interesting as it actually is (spoiler: it’s more interesting than you think). By night, I’m here writing about all the marketing stuff that keeps me up thinking.
Here’s the thing about marketing – everyone thinks they know it until they try it. I’ve been in the trenches for years now, working across industries, testing strategies that sometimes work brilliantly and sometimes fail spectacularly. Both taught me something.
I write because I wish someone had explained marketing to me the way I wish I could explain it to my past self. You know that feeling when someone finally explains something complex in a way that just clicks? That’s what I’m going for here.
I cover pretty much everything marketing – from setting up your first Google Ads campaign without burning through your budget, to figuring out why your content isn’t connecting with people. I write about digital marketing, content strategy, personal branding, and whatever new trend is making marketers lose sleep this month.
But I don’t just regurgitate what everyone else is saying. I test things. I work with real clients. I make mistakes and share what I learned from them.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not thinking about marketing funnels, I’m usually writing stories and novels. Yeah, I know – marketing guy who writes fiction. It’s not as weird as it sounds. Both are about understanding people, telling compelling stories, and making connections.
I’m also that person who gets genuinely excited about AI tools and spends way too much time testing them to see how they can actually help marketers (beyond just “generate content”).
My Philosophy
Marketing isn’t about tricking people into buying stuff. It’s about connecting the right people with things that actually help them. When you get that right, everything else falls into place.
I believe in explaining things simply without dumbing them down. I think data is important, but so is intuition. And I’m convinced that the best marketing feels like having a conversation with someone you trust.
Let’s Connect
I love hearing from people who are figuring out marketing, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been doing this longer than I have. Drop me a line if something here resonates with you, if you disagree with something I wrote, or if you just want to share what’s working (or not working) for you.
Because at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to get better at this thing called marketing.
